About These Terms & Conditions
You should read the terms and conditions set out below before purchasing goods using this website.
In these terms and conditions, the expressions “we”, “us” and “our” are a reference to Decohouse, the website owner.
Decohouse reserves the right to accept or reject any order in whole or in part for any reason, including, without limitation, in respect to the unavailability of any products or an error or omission with respect to the product (including, but not limited to, any image or information relating to the product). We will endeavor to notify you within a reasonable time of any such rejection. Decohouse shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused by rejection of the order, any delay to accept or reject the order or to deliver the product.
By placing an order through this website, you are making an offer to purchase those products described for the price listed at the time you place the order (including all applicable delivery costs and taxes).
You must provide and complete accurately all information required at the checkout. Your order must contain your name, postal address, phone number, e-mail address, payment details and any other ordering information or details as requested by us in connection with your order.
Confirmation of your purchase will be sent to your e-mail address once your payment has been cleared. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail within two business days, please contact email@example.com or call us on 03 8795 7039
You may not cancel an order once it has been submitted, even if our confirmation e-mail is still pending.
To place an online order, you must be over 18 years old. The goods are offered for sale only to persons who can make legally binding contracts.
We accept payment by Bank Transfer, Credit Card or PayPal. You must not pay, or attempt to pay, for products through any fraudulent or unlawful means.
Payment must be effected by the payment methods offered on this site using the ordering facility on this website.
All prices are in Australian Dollars.
Prices are inclusive of goods and services tax. In all other respects, the price is exclusive of freights costs, taxes, duties and charges imposed or levied in Australia or overseas in connection with the supply of goods or services.
If we are unable to successfully process payment for your order, we may reject or cancel your order.
All payments are made by a secure server, which will encrypt each transaction as a security precaution. However, you acknowledge that despite reasonable precautions on our part, there is a risk of unauthorised access to, or alteration of, your transmissions of data or of information contained on your computer system or on the Site and therefore you should be aware that you supply this information at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss or damage of any kind including, without limitation, liability to a third party which you may suffer or incur as a result of such activity.
Cancellation Due to Error or Unavailability
You acknowledge that despite our reasonable precautions, products may be listed at an incorrect price, with incorrect information, or which are unavailable due to a typographical error, lack of available stock or like oversight. In these circumstances, we reserve the right to cancel the transaction, notwithstanding that your order has been confirmed and payment has been received. We reserve this right up until the time of delivery of goods.
If a cancellation of this nature occurs after your payment has been received for the purchase, we will immediately issue a refund to you for the amount in question without deduction.
Delivery of the products will be affected in the manner described on this website. i.e. Items purchased online will (subject to availability) be dispatched by freight the as soon as practicable after receiving payment for your order (and usually within one (1) business days.
The purchaser or a legal representative of the purchaser must be on-site to receive the delivery and sign for the goods on the specified date of delivery. If no-one is present on-site to receive the order, goods will not be left unattended and an additional delivery fee will be charged for next attempt of delivery.
You acknowledge and agree that any person at the delivery address who receives and signs for the delivery is authorised by you.
The delivery driver will only drop goods within 5m of where the delivery vehicle can safely park for the delivery. Goods will not be carried by hand by the drivers up pathways, stairs or undriveable driveways.
You or a representative will need to be at the delivery location to help unload.
If alternative delivery or unloading arrangements are made by you or your representative without our knowledge and/or consent, you will be liable for additional costs incurred.
We must have a street address for any order submitted. We can’t ship to PO Boxes.
Risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to you upon delivery.
Any damaged material must be reported immediately by email or phone to Decohouse and photos provided by email within 24hrs to make a claim.
The customer must take measure to ensure goods are protected from the elements such as rain or flooding and are solely responsible for the goods immediately after delivery has been made.
We undertake to comply with the terms of our Delivery Policy in relation to ensuring delivery in a timely matter.
You acknowledge that we are not liable for any losses or damages suffered directly or indirectly by you as a consequence of any delay in dispatch or delivery.
Only Samples can be delivered without a signature if the purchaser has granted an “Authority to Leave” without signature at the time of checkout. If you grant “Authority to Leave”, you agree that Decohouse does not bear any responsibility or liability to you for any consignments that are lost or stolen after our carriers have recorded the parcel as “successfully delivered”.
Delivery time frame: 3-5 Business days for Metro, 7-10 Business days for Regional areas.
For Victorian deliveries, we deliver Monday to Friday via freight or courier depending on the delivery location. Once payment for your order is received we or a representative from our freight company will contact you 24hrs prior to delivery to arrange a delivery time.
For interstate orders, a freight company will be used. They will call 24hrs prior to delivery to arrange a delivery time. Unfortunately, we will not be able to guarantee an exact date or time of delivery.
There may be circumstances out of our control that could delay shipping or delivery. We accept your order on the basis that we cannot be responsible for delays including, but not limited to, delays out of our control. If there are any unexpected delays, we will advise you as soon as we are aware and keep you updated with the status of your order.
Freight and delivery charges will be notified to you at the time your order is placed, if applicable. These charges may depend on your location, size, weight and quantity of product(s) ordered. Orders for multiple products may be split across multiple deliveries depending on where it was shipped from.
Shopping for Floors Online
Please note that when shopping online, items on the website may appear differently on screen than it appears in real life. This may be caused by your screen settings or the settings that were used in the production of the original image. Colours and texture are often difficult to see and judge online with 100% accuracy. Our manufacturers make every effort to match dye lots, however, customers are also warned that colour shades and variations may appear in the product (including, but not limited to, when the product is exposed to UV light).
Decohouse recommends that a sample be purchased prior to placing your order to ensure that you are happy with the colour and product you have chosen.
Under certain conditions, refunds or replacements are available for items valid for 7 days after date of purchase.
We undertake to comply with the terms of our Refund Policy in relation to the refund of replacement products to our consumers.
Returns or exchanges are subject to our Returns Policy which can be found on our website.
Missing, Damaged or Defective Products
It is your responsibility to ensure that the product you have ordered is correct, and, in a reasonable condition prior to signing for delivery.
If the product or packaging appears damaged on delivery, please contact us immediately. If you have already accepted a product and later discover that it has been damaged or is missing parts or is otherwise defective, our Returns Policy as set out on our website will apply.
Proof of purchase and/or photos of the damaged product may be required.
Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed as totally secure. Whilst we strive to protect such information, we do not warrant and cannot ensure the security of any information which you transmit to us. Accordingly, any information which you transmit to us, including your credit card details, is transmitted at your own risk.
We may utilise “cookies” which enable us to monitor traffic patterns and to serve you more efficiently. Cookies allow you to log into the website faster and assist you to navigate through the website easier. A cookie does not identify you personally, but it does identify your computer. You can set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie and this will provide you with an opportunity to either accept or reject it in each instance.
Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability arising from or relating to your use of this website including the online purchase of Decohouse products, as set out in our Legal Disclaimer.
Details contained on this website relating to goods and services have been prepared in accordance with Australian Law and may not satisfy the laws of any other country. We do not warrant that the details on this website concerning those goods or services will satisfy the laws of any other country. It is your responsibility to determine whether these details satisfy the laws of the jurisdiction in which you reside (if that jurisdiction is outside Australia) and if the details do not satisfy the laws of your jurisdiction, you may not order any goods or services from this website.
Termination of Access
Access to this website may be terminated at any time by us without notice. Our disclaimer will nevertheless survive any such termination.
You agree that the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia will apply to all transactions and communications on this site, and you submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria to hear any dispute.
We accept no liability for any failure to comply with these terms and conditions where such failure is due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
If we waive any rights available to us under these terms and conditions on one occasion, this does not mean that those rights will automatically be waived on any other occasion.
If any of these terms and conditions are held to be invalid, unenforceable or illegal for any reason, the remaining terms and conditions shall nevertheless continue in full force.

These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Decohouse regarding the sale of products through the website.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability under any guarantee, condition or warranty (including, without limitation, any guarantee, condition or warranty of merchantability, acceptable quality, fitness for purpose or fitness for disclosed result), or any other right or remedy, under any legislation or implied into these terms and conditions by any legislation (Statutory Warranties) is hereby excluded. Where we are liable under any Statutory Warranties, and any legislation avoids or prohibits provisions in a contract excluding or modifying the application of, or exercise of, or liability under, such Statutory Warranties, our liability for any breach of such Statutory Warranties shall be limited, at our option, to one or more of the following: (a) if the breach relates to goods: the replacement of the goods or the supply of equivalent goods; the repair of such goods; the cost of replacing the goods or of acquiring equivalent goods; or the cost of having the goods repaired; and (b) if the breach relates to services: the supplying of the services again or the cost of having the services supplied again.
